At St. Michaels we celebrate marriage in the context of worship so we expect that at least one of the couple be a baptized practicing Christian. By marrying in the church a couple are inviting God to witness their vows and covenant and to be an important part of their lives together.

We have a beautiful historical church for your ceremony. It seats 120 plus comfortably. We also have the option of our second newer worship space, which seats 170. We also can facilitate wedding receptions for a small additional cost if you have your ceremony at our site.

In rare circumstances couples may bring their own minister, priest or pastor at the discretion of our priest. In this case copies of the ministers certificate of ordination and Alberta license to perform marriages will be required.

Our priest, the Rev. Betty Piwowar, generally performs the marriage ceremonies. More information is available by contacting the church office.
